Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus presented the awards at a special ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on Saturday, coinciding with the observance of International Women's Day.
The event, chaired by Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid, was attended by members of the Council of Advisers, foreign diplomats stationed in Dhaka, women leaders, and senior government officials.
The awardees included Sharifa Sultana, Halima Begum, Marina Besra, Lipi Begum, Muhin Mohona, and members of the Bangladesh National Women's Cricket Team, who were recognized for their remarkable achievements in their respective fields.
