The quota reform protesters have called a 'complete' nationwide shutdown for Thursday, demanding justice for those killed in demonstrations, and campuses free from terrorism.

Asif Mahmud, a coordinator of the protests, made the announcement in a Facebook post on Wednesday night.

He also sent the announcement to reporters.

Asif condemned the attacks on protesters by police and other forces.

Only hospitals and emergency services will be allowed to open, while ambulances alone will be allowed on the streets, according to him.

Asif urged students of schools, colleges, and madrasas to join their protests.
