Jamaat Ameer Says Entire Nation Still Suffers from Felani’s Tragic Death

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has said that not only her family, but the whole country is suffering due to Felani’s tragic death. 
 
He said this after visiting Felani's grave and offering Fateha at Dakshin Ramkhana Colonitari village of Ramkhana union in Nageshwari upazila of Kurigram district this afternoon. 
 
Dr Shafiqur Rahman said, “We had organized programmes and issued statements demanding justice for Felani's brutal murder by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF).”
 
“If the then government wanted, it could have filed a case in the International Criminal Tribunal at The Hague seeking justice for Felani's murder,” he said. 
 
He said, “We will talk to the interim government so that Felani's family gets justice. Felani’s body was hanging on the barbed wire fence. The whole world condemned India. We will cooperate with the human rights organization, if necessary, in the trial of this murder.”
 
Later, the Jamaat Ameer handed over gifts to Felani's family.
 
The central, regional, district and thana level leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami were present at that time.
