Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah, a member of the BNP standing committee and former minister, has been admitted to a hospital in the capital after falling ill.

He was admitted to Ibn Sina Hospital in the capital on Monday.

Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah’s Personal Secretary Moksedur Rahman Abir, the Deputy General Secretary of the Central Committee of Swechchhasebak Dal, confirmed the matter this noon.
