Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, MP, today said BNP-Jamaat's movement is to destroy the country's economy and killing people as they are anti-liberation forces.

"BNP-Jamaat is communal force," he told an extended meeting of Dhaka city south unit of Awami League at party's central office of Bangabandhu Avenue.

Nasim said BNP leader Dr Abdul Moin Khan said that they had struggled for the country's Independence which is not true as they wanted to make hostage of the countrymen.

BNP-Jamaat alliance is hatching conspiracy against the country and its people, he added.

Nasim Also said BNP-Jamaat want to destroy country's democracy and the alliance killed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with most of his family members on August 15, 1975.

The alliance had lodged complain to foreigners against the country and present government several times, he said.

Dhaka city south unit AL president Abu Ahmed Mannafi presided over the meeting and its general secretary Humayun Kabir conducted it.
