Coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM) on Wednesday officially launched a new student organisation named ‘Bangladesh Gonotantrik Chhatra Sangsad’.

ADSM coordinator Abu Baker Majumder and ADSM former office Secretary Zahid Ahsan have been made convener and member secretary of the student body, launched today at a press conference at Madhu’s canteen on the Dhaka University campus.

The central committee also includes Touhid Mohammad Siam as senior joint convener, Rifat Rashid as senior member secretary, Tahmid Al Muddassir Chowdhury as chief organiser, and Ashrefa Khatun as spokesperson.

The new student body also announced its convening committee for the Dhaka University unit with Abdul Kader as convener and Mohir Alam as member secretary.

The DU unit committee also include Limon Mahmud Hasan as senior joint convener, Al Amin Sarkar as senior member secretary, Hasib Al Islam as chief organiser, and Rafia Rehnuma Hridi as spokesperson.
