Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has been rendering different types of works towards environment and climate protection and also a part of its’ corporate social responsibility has been carrying out the program of tree plantation through different branches every year.

In this regard the Chuadanga branch, Kushtia branch, Meherpur branch and Moheshpur branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organized a tree planting program in the premises of Victoria Jubilee Government High School of Chuadanga district on 14th July 2024. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, was present as the chief guest and distributed saplings of different species of fruits, forest and medicinal trees among the students. On the same day, trees were planted and saplings of different species were distributed among the students of Zhinuk Secondary Girls School, Chuadanga and Chuadanga Government Girls High School premises.

The Head teacher of Victoria Jubilee Government High School of Chuadanga district Jasmin Ara presided over in the ceremony while the manager of Chuadanga branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mr. Kamruzzaman, the assistant Head teacher of Victoria Jubilee Government High School Mr. Anwar Hossain, the senior teacher Rahima Khatun, the assistant teacher Mr. Iqbal & Mehdi Hassan and other officials of the bank were also present in the tree plantation program.
